Temple Vulture

I once saw a documentation about air burial from monks in Tibet. It is forbidden to record this, but they recorded it with a monster-zoom from a neighbour mountain.
A monk cut his dead brother monk in chunks and fed him to a big pack of vultures. At last there was only the spine and the skull left, still connecting together. The monk took the spine and whacked the skull down on the ground, that the vultures even had access to the brain. When he has finished his work he sat down and whatched the vultures....

This impressed me deeply and touched my heart until today.
I really had to put this in a knife.

Blade: 115W8 (2442), 255mm in length, 5mm width.
Handle: copper and water buffalo horn
Overall length: 410 mm
Sheath: wodden liners with tip and throat from buffalo horn, deer raw hide with copper fittings and a carbon steel spring.

Thanks for watching.

Interesting inspiration.

I like the knife and sheath and would like to incorporate a retention method in the future.

i remember something similar
he drove on his motorcycle and fed the vultures, ant then collected all bones and pieces and crushed them in little pieces
going green all the way!!
