As I just got a surface grinder and don't really know its capabilities yet, I shouldn't be thinking of modifying it. BUT.
I have seen many of you convert from stone to 2x72 belt. Just curious on a couple of things. First and foremost, how accurate is a belt compared to a stone? Is spring tension enough to hold the belt, or does it need a mechanical tightener? Anyone have a WIP for a Rockwell surface grinder?
