Sometimes knifemaking is frustrating!

I have gained lots of experience at least. Always learning something! Funny how many skills I never would've learned if not for knifemaking.

I like building things. So a lot of the equipment I built or am building is just fun! Problem is I have Elderly parents and time is at a premium!

Prayers for your parents. My grandma is currently suffering from Alzheimer's so you never know what your going to have to deal with on a daily basis. Definitely takes some time but family comes first.

I agree with purchasing the best you can. I like many others got their first belt grinder as a 1”x 32”. I should have put that aside and added funds until I had enough to buy a 2x72. This also applies to belts, sandpaper,drill bits etc.
