Considered one of the most collectible of the SOG folding knives, this excellent example of the 1988 knife of the year includes the original SOG scabbard with dual belt mounts.
The Tomcat was one of the first lock-back folders to incorporate a "Bowie" blade design and utilize SOG's heavy-duty lock system that incorporated a negative draft locking bar.
There is absolutely no play in the locking mechanism and the rubber scales reflect no wear. Never sharpened, never carried, some very minor fine marks. See photos. The very last photo shows the fine lines that are only visible under certain types of light. I used an LED light to photograph.
