I was a little last creative night:

Now I just need to dye it, but choosing the colors is difficult so suggestions are welcome.

Very nice :). Good work its pretty hard to make pauting. Is it dry yet. If not you can champer the inside and top of the sheat a little and press it against the handle that way it comes a little closer to the handle.

Thanks Seved, it is dry now. I have done some sheaths where I chamfered the leather but this time I wanted it to have a thick edge.

But I did make a cut at an angle and then pressed the leather down to get a better looking edge on the sheath, so it isn't the fuzzy edge/backside that is out but "narvsidan".
Thank you very much for the nice words, it means a lot when they come from a man with your skills.

Yes you get a nice finish on the sheat with it i think. But of course it depends on wich character you want to give the sheat.
