Sorry to hear about your loss, Murph and Nadine. I've been there several times over the years... know you did the right thing for Arashi. She'll be in your heart always.
 
I am sorry for your loss, Murph. I held my great dane when he was put down and it is one of the hardest things I have ever done. Maybe her spirit will live on through a new Akita puppy. I know puppies are great grief relievers.

I'm sorry I missed a your post until now. Please accept my most sincere condolences. It is never easy but it is part of what we must endure to share the love of a pet for a while.
