Rounded spine

I was wondering how rounding the spine was done , is there any preference ? Grinder , hand file ,etc.
 
I knock off the edges with a stiff belt 60-120 grit, then I round with a 120 grit super flex belt. I then leave it at 120 grit so you have a little traction with your off hand or your fingers etc.
 
I actually round mine by rolling the spine from side to side on the platen on my grinder, and I do it at every grit. Same with the ricasso if it isn't a knife with a dropped edge.
