I was thinking of the whole kit and caboodle from DD work rests. But thats a couple hundred I don't have at the moment.Looks good! What are your plans for a work rest?
The DD looks like it would do a good job and I understand the cost factor. That's one of the major reasons I chose the GIB as I can spread the costs out over a period of time. This week it was a motor, couple more weeks and I should be able to spring for the VFD.I was thinking of the whole kit and caboodle from DD work rests. I just profiled and ground bevels on a blade since I last posted. Lol.The DD looks like it would do a good job and I understand the cost factor. Yours looks like it is really close to being able to remove some metal.
Bro... Words can't explain the difference between this set up and the 1x30 I was using. Definitely learning how to grind all over again. But its worth it. So much better.Craig - didn't you just LOVE grinding on the 2X72? Looks like you're off to a good start.
Thanks brother. There's definitely a big difference between using a 1x30 and 2x72. But a couple blades and I should be getting cleaner lines again.good to see you have managing to get everything you needed. first blade looks good. keep it up.
