Started from 1/8" 1095. Stock removal project. I do a lot of forging, but I do some stock removal too. I designed this little knife to be the go to blade in the kitchen.
The blade was profiled on my Bader and left the full thickness to reduce warping during heat treat. I normalized 3 times. Then applied my clay for my hamon later. Here is what it looks like after the normalizing and clay applied.
