I watched the video that was produced by the DA's office.
They acted like the knives in the video were illegal, but every knife they showed the store employee trying to open with a flick, he failed.
They say that approximately 1/3 of homicides in NYC in 2009 and 2010 were committed with knives, but they forgot to tell us what kind of knives committed those homicides.
The biggest surprise to me is that it says gravity knives are illegal in roughly 1/3 of the states. How rough is this approximation and what states? I don't know any state that has this rule.
