New Mill and Surface Grinder / Now What??

The new mill is home and running! Now to figure out how to use it!
Practiced tonight on the block that I use as a bench anvil, first tried a 2" facing mill (?) which moved material well enough, and quickly but was not too crazy about the finish. Went to a 3/8" carbide end mill and got a MUCH nicer finish. I am really liking the power feed!
Above are the things that came with it. There is a set of collets that I don't know what they are. They are threaded on the OUTSIDE of the collet. Any suggestions?

If they are short collets, they may be collets for a special holder that fits into the spindle and has a screw-on nut.
 
grizzly mini mill

I just bought a Grizzly mini Mill. Should be fun ! It comes with a 1/2" and a 3/8" collet and also some after market collets for smaller dia than 3/8" I just bought a holder for them online and now I'm just waiting for it to arrive so I can have some enjoyment at the mill.

I'm going to enjoy making jigs for it. I've seen many helpful ones in videos, now just a matter of being able to make a few of them.
