Leftover damascus and Koa integral.

After my last personal knife went to a good friend in Germany i needed a new knife for myself.
With a leftover chunk of 200 layer damascus and a block of Koa I made myself a new one.

A 16 cm blade and overall length of 29 cm.
Damascus of O2 and 75ni8.

There are some raindrops on the knife.

Hope you like it!

I like it. I've never done an intergral but when I do, I hope it turns out half as nice as this one. I'm really liking the handle shape...looks real comfortable. Good job!

Well, if you keep it locked up in a safe place you might be able to avoid someone
buying it off your belt :) But I wouldn't count on it :)

Thanks for your compliments!

I made a sheath for my new knife.
It is an experiment to see if it works to carry the sheath horizontal and vertical.
By undoing the wider strap you can slip that behind your belt so you do not have to take off your belt.

Eric , thats a beautiful package there. I would love to have a sheath like that one for the knife you are making for me please. Scott

Very impressive use of 'leftovers'. Anytime you have table scraps you want to get rid of, let me know.
I love the dark maple and damascus and the sheath really tops it off!
