Finished one today for a customer made from 5/32" Alabama damascus steel. Dimensions are OAL= 8", Blade Length= 3 1/4", Blade width= 1 1/4" and the handle is blue and black G10. Have to admit that working with laminated g10 or micarta is not my strongest attribute. To be honest its turned more into my nemesis. Trying to grind an even pattern appealing to the eye on one side and then make the other side match......:12:. If anyone has any tips or suggestions I would be very grateful.

Very nice drop point- rugged design and file work looks great. On the G10, the only way I have found to control the pattern is to taper the tang, so that when scales are made parallel to blade during finishing, the layers are exposed in an even pattern on surface.
