What a wonderful week. I love Christmas, all the shopping and crowded stores, and jam packed parking lots .. etc. :) Actually. I was so busy in the shop this month. I didnt even go shopping. Thank God for Google and Amazon etc. I could do my shopping from home after work! and they delivered! I may never go to a store again for a Christmas present!! lolol :)

So I finished this one tonight 12/24/2012

Its heading to a jumpmaster that is being deployed first part of January.

Specs.

OAL 11"
Blade approx 5 3/4" , HHH Tsunami pattern damascus, O-1 and L-6 steels. RC 59/60
Handle cocobolo burl.
Guard, HHH Crazylace damascus, 1080 and 15n20.

I will work up a kydex sheath for this one and get some better images B4 sending it out.

Thanks for looking and Merry Christmas to all my fellow Knife Nuts!

God Bless

Merry Christmas to ya Mike! God Bless!!! and a Happy New Year!

This one was slated to have a ironwood handle, but once I got to that pint. The ironwood didn't want to be on this knife. I argued with it for a hour or more. Then I finally gave in .

When I went back to the stash box of scales. These cocobolo almost jumped outa the boy and on to the knife. It was like a Christmas Miracle!!! :p

Beautiful.

Technical question. I don't see any pins holding the guard. Did you solder it?

Merry Christmas to all!

Here are the finished photos. I forgot I made this post ans started another called military build or something like that. :) So I made a kydex sheath and set it up with a single Large Tec-Loc style clip.
