Knife No. 16 - Ancient Flame Demon

This is one I had started on over a year ago (maybe 2). Was originally going to be a chef knife, but it ended up cracking near the edge during heat treat. To recover it, I annealed, re-straightened and removed the hair-line crack by adding a curve to the edge. I simply decided to go with it by adding more curves and this one came out really cool. It's sat on the bench for a very long time, but finally got around to finishing it recently. Used purple heart wood for the handle. It has a rustic look to it, the curves kind of remind me of a flame and at the same time a kris, so I decided to call this one Ancient Flame Demon. Made out of 1095, almost 8" blade and 14" OAL.
