I'm going to be moving to the Northern Virginia area soon and I'd like to find a knife maker in the area to be my mentor.
I live near Bristol, TN and I started learning about knife making under Ken Largin at Smoky Mountain Knife works, but I was only able to work with him a few days (and several days at home) before I was sent to VA Beach for military training.
That training has led to a new job in DC and I don't want to put my knife making on hold any more.
If nothing else, I'd like to just come and watch the process to keep things fresh in my mind until I can get room to start my own workshop.
Thanks for any help or guidance!
