Vulnus means wound, I feel it fits this knife very well; and I agree I might be doing a few more sets of knives like this later this year. The contrast is perfect! funny thing is I was actually working on another knife and this design came from a cut out scrap of that knife and with a little tweaking it became... also now that I look at it, the tail end looks like a scorpion tail...
 
Real nice , first time I have seen real Hamon on Stainless . I would like some info on how you accomplished that . Regards Bubba
