For a "tactical" knife to have damascus bolsters?

Too blingy?

Thinking Carbon Fibre scales with damascus bolsters, and a black oxide blade.

What say you?

I don't make many tacticals, but I'd probably go with with mild steel for the bolsters with the same finish as the blade. It's really up to you, though. Whatever looks best to you (or your customer, if it's to fill an order) is the best thing for you to use.

I say if its for you as a personal blade....who cares what anyone thinks. As long as you like it, go for it bud!!

Now if its a customer order.....I would leave it up to them!
