Information on Richard Batson Knives

Hi all,
I'm looking for any info about Richard Batson. He was a great inspiration when I was younger. I called him (probably 20+ years ago) and asked him about his knives. He was very pleasant and spoke to me for a while answering all my questions politely even though they were coming from and uneducated teenager. I'm like to contact him and/or acquire two of his knives. The Batson "Ranger Knife" and the other is a double edged dagger type knife the name I don't recall. Any info would be appreciated.

I found this thread on him over at knifeforums.com, and a mention of him in an Oregon Knife Collector's newsletter here (pdf link). A google search for 'Richard Batson knives turned up a few other links that might be helpful, plus some images of his knives.

Thanks GHEzell. I found the knifeforums pages and a few others, but not the Oregon Knife Collectors newsletter. Great story. I hope someday to be lucky enough to acquire on of his knives. I will probably try and emulate his design and make one for myself, but it's not the same as an original.
