one i made a few days ago, went for a hamon but the edge was too thin and it ended up warping so i lost some size getting it back straight.
the blade is from a file, the spacer from vulc. fibre, stainless and cow horn, the handle is stabilized walnut and the pin is silver. 4" blade, 5mm thick at the ricasso and a bit over and inch wide, the handle is 5" long.
im not 100% happy with it, as usual the blade turned out fine but the handle let it down....
what im not happy with, along with the uneven transition between materials...
i later went on to file a grove in the horn
