Hello from the other Washington

I have been watching this forum for quite a while and its great to be here. I just posted a couple in the custom knife section. I have been making forged knives for about year and I find the whole thing frightfully addicting. I really like the forging part and integrals let me do more forging. I am a full time school teacher teaching science and woodshop. I am planning on making a proposal to my principal to let my advanced woods kids forge some knives, I hope I can convince her. I live in Quilcene, famous for oysters, on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington.

I make it up to the olympics at least once a year.
My favorite place is hurricane ridge.
 
Welcome, Todd, I agree with John Smith - my favorite spot on the peninsula is Hurricane Ridge. It's so beautiful at sunset looking out over the Pacific.
