Hello all! My name is Mike and I am a beginner in the knife making arena. I look forward to learning as much as I can so that one day I might be able to support my habit! I have made about 1/2 a dozen knives that actually turned out to be very usable knives although the fit and finish needs lots of work. I am sure that I will pick up many tips and trick here.

Hello Mike,
im new to knife making also. i have worked with a steel most of my life. I wanted to learn about knife making because it was made with steel. i found out i dont know as much as i thought I did. these guys have told me a lot. I all so grew up and live on the pamlico river in north carolina. I know you will enjoy this site. Let me know if my little bit of knowledge can help you.
