Hi, my name is Donald Bryant. I'm just getting started with this hobby. I have always loved knives, the more exotic the better. I just stared this hobby about 1 year ago. So far I'm just making knives using the blanks. I've made one for my wife, one for me and sold one to a friend. I'm making a 4th for a friend from work as a partial trade for a wood lathe. I'm hoping to learn a lot from the members of this group. Hoping to be able to start etching my name on blades soon and eventually learn to do some of the metal engraving. I have a small mill/ lathe combination machine in my garage that I'm hoping to start using more for my knife making. I'd like to start making some of my own designs soon and possibly send out for heat treating until I learn how to do it myself.
