A customer found this axe head at a second hand store. He asked me to put a cable haft on it for him and this is how it ended up. The total length is 12 1/4".

Very nice work..."baseball" stitching looks VERY nice..
I think that is a "lathing hatchet"..precuser to drywall hammer, but I could be very wrong.....
