grinding jig

If your eventual goal is freehand grinding then I cannot recommend the bubble jig enough. If you do not intend to freehand later (and that is fine) then I would make one similiar to what has been described.

Here's the Moen grinding jig I got excited about, built one and it works really good. You'll have to get around the 2 minute mark to see the jig, but does a good job of showing how it works:

Here's another much simpler idea that looks like it work work just fine, and very easy to build. I think I'll build one of those to try also just scroll thru video to see how it works. I think he's speaking Turkish.

Ken, I like the looks of the Moen jig but it's hard to tell how it works. Does it change angles within the jig itself or is it necessary to change the andle of the table on the grinder?

I need a jig for flat grinding.
Any suggestions?

I copied this from a young whiz kid named Greg on you tube, it works well for me.
He welded his and I bolted mine as I do not have welding gear.
