Here is a hawk I just finished for KT, he wanted something that looks like it just came out of the 1800's, something gnarly.
The 9 1/2" head was forged from leaf spring and the haft is hicokry dressed with copper,rawhide,and natural gut sinew.
Allow me to introduce you to Gnarly.

Looks gnarly to me! Wade, the natural aged look of your pieces is what attracts me to them. It appears as though you efforlessly turn out one gorgeous piece after another. I guess that's why Terry rightfully turns to you for all of his aged look pieces.

The hawk looks strang, agressive, practical and deadly all in one. Yet it also looks like it should be placed in a case to be admired.
Amazing craftmanship and attention to detail.
