Is a liner necessary on a friction folder? I would like to use one. Maybe some stainless steel .090 " thick 304 stainless. is 304 okay to use? i will top that with 1/8" handle material. would like to drill and tap the stainless to screw the handle material to it.. Also for the stop pin, do i need to used a hardened steel? can i use stainless or brass? this would be for a small friction folder. maybe a 2.5" long blade?
