This would be genesis. Scrap steel, cut to shape and sharpened. The cord wrap is melted on and it is a guy line from a tent. The sheath is made of some kind of soft leather that flaps around a lot and is completed with a sharpie centipede. I got the blacksmith down the road to heat treat it and it holds an edge alright so it might have been a saw blade or something but who knows? I made it probably about three years ago with an angle grinder and nothing else. No research at all this was my first bit of metalwork in my life and I was 13 when I did it. These are my excuses and I kniw it is an abomination but it is my knife and it has saved my life when there was a horse wanting to eat me (I drew it and his behind a rock crying but that isn't the point.). It has served me well when cutting through cake and cheese and shall always be a reminder that I started somewhere and I am very proud of it.
