Hi all,

Been a awhile since my first post here.
I got a belt grinder finally. A friend built it for me, using variable speed angle grinder as drive motor.

It's the first successful knife done with the grinder. I ruined other 2 when grinding. Using belt grinder is whole lot new thing to me

Knife looks great. Your friend looks like he made you quite the grinder. Never have seen one built with an angle grinder. I'll be interested if the angle grinder holds out long. Good use of what you have around though.

Redmech, It is quite a grinder. Dont know if it will last long, but i guess electro motor will last longer. The problem is i dont have a place to put it permanently, using angle grinder eases me to store it when i'm done. other advantages are, it is speed variable which usefuleto do post HT grinding. the only drawback i found is the loud noise.

Slatroni, thanks for the compliment

Plus 1 for both the grinder and knife. I need a friend like that, can you rent that friend out. I see lots of great knives coming from this grinder enjoy.
