Just finished this one. Strictly a "display" object.

Guard: Etched Muonionalusta metorite
Grip: English walnut

Blade length: 7 3/8 inches
Overall length: 12 inches

gads...how big was that piece of meteor? that Widmanstätten pattern is really nice.
something that big had a name of the fall - which one was it?

Discovered: 1838
Composition: Fe - 91.8%
Ni - 7.7%
Co - 0.5%
P - 0.04%
Ir - 2.4 ppm
Ga - 1.97 ppm
Ge - 0.111 ppm

This slice weighed approx. 280 grams when I started. Didn't weigh it after I got through grinding.
