I general, it looks good to me. What kind of an edge are you going to put on it? Double edge, single edge, single edge with a 1/3-1/2 false edge? A double edged blade will make it primarily a stabbing weapon with little utility purpose. A single edge will give it more utility but cut down on it's blood letting ability. A full edge on the bottom with a false edge on top will still give good blood letting ability but still allow the user to choke up on the blade for utility work.
