Couple of skinners from files. (well, technically a rasp and a file...)

These are a couple of file knives I cranked out for some friends of mine. The first one with the elk antler handle is actually from a ferriers rasp, and the second is from a Simonds @@@@@@@ file. That one is rocking the quilted maple handle and walnut/elk antler sandwich. I don't know if that is called a bolster, or if there is another name for a wooden fingerguard/bolster. Perhaps someone can enlighten me.

I really, really need a new photo setup though.
