This was my first time to play with Aldo's W2 so I made something simple to try to get a hamon. This one turned out pretty good but I believe the next one will be better. Here are the details;
Aldo's W2 thermal cycled 3 times to relieve stress and refine grain, quenched in Parks #50, triple tempered to RC 59-60.
Full flat grind with a 1000 grit hand rubbed finish.
Overall length-10&1/2", blade-5&7/8" from tip to scales, handle scales 4&5/8", 1&7/16" wide, & 1/4" thick with a distal taper.
Handle scales are coarse textured G-10 and are removable.
Price-$150.00 + $10 shipping in the USA. All others pay actual charges.
This will include a leather sheath made to the buyers specs..
