this is a special build for me. i don't do much true forging anymore. my pop and i got together and worked up a few rough blanks for me to build upon. this is the first one. my Bull Mastiff, wearing my higher grind and our Crime Scene etched finish. all the edges are textured for grip and a cool appearance. the ends of the handle pins are textured to match. the scale material is black linen micarta. i am so happy with this knife. most makers are probably like me. i am my own worst critic. this particular knife is as close to my idea of perfect as i have ever gotten. i suppose it is that mentality that keeps us striving to make each knife better than the last. i am digging this new Crime Scene finish. i will shut up now and post some pics. thanks for looking.

+1 on loving the Crime Scene finish !

1. It's just a great looking finish treatment.
2. You nailed it with the name.

Lovin the AR too !

I hear you on that continued quest to make a better knife every time. This one looks like a really good workhorse with a lot of visual interest - that's pretty darn close to perfect in my book. :)
