I am curious, how does the jimping at the tang perform?

Tectonic, Hello and good day
In regard to the jimping.. Its a great addition to the design as it adds extra traction and control when you choke up on the knife.. Giving a secure control of the knife and its cutting edge...
Alot of people dont realize how much the pinky finger plays in most cutting techniques. That said, When you choke up on the Hawk, Your pinky has a Home so to speak that allows for what I feel is fine control of the knife. Not to mention it adds to the eye appeal of the knife.
Thanks for asking.
God Bless
Randy
