I asked this on another forum and didn't get a reply, so I figured I'd throw it out to the Dawgs!
I'm looking at getting an Evenheat oven. The problem is, I don't have 220v to my garage and it's too cost prohibitive to run it there, at least in my opinion.
I was wondering how quick a 22.5" long 120v Evenheat oven heats up to say 1500 degrees? How long will it take to heat up to 1900?
As I see it, I have two options.
1. Either buy the 120v Evenheat and hope for the best or
2. Buy the 220v model, install it on a rolling cart or toolbox and roll it to my carport and use my 5500 watt generator to power it when I need to HT.
What are your thoughts suggestions?
