this hawk is crafted from 01tool steel and hickory
the design evolved over several prototypes
the blade is hollow ground 01 tool steel charcoal forge heat treated and oil quenched
it was made from 1/4 inch steel plate
stitch drilled and using the stock reduction method ground the hell out of
the handle is made from hickory
the sheath is custom made from kydex
this one is the sand and black hook version
its called the anohawk sand hook
there is also the chisle version
