A pair of pairers

Just finished these up as gifts to my mom and grandma for Christmas. Both are 1095, one with natural and one with green Micarta. These are my first 2 kitchen knives and I'm interested to see how they hold up.
Thanks for checking it out, comments and critique are welcomed :)

Great looking knives. I typically take my grinds all the way up and do a little convexing for parers and petty knives but that's my taste. I'm sure they will love them.

Thanks mike :) I was thinking about using those awesome maple scales I got from you, but I thought 1/2 in scales might be a bit thick for their little hands.

let me know next time, I'll re saw them for you. I've started using an amazing carbide re saw blade on my band saw and not even lignum vitae slows it down.
