I have only recently become more active on KD after being a member for quite a while, so I thought to show some of my work.
The first lot up are based on a Joseph Rodgers knife I inherited from my grandfather. It has been honed to the point where the blade tip sits well above the scales, but I managed to make a reasonable copy of it. The original has a sheepsfoot blade, but I also adapted it to the wharncliffe profile. These are part of a "modern classics" range I do - I use or adapt classic/traditional designs and build them in modern materials.
First up is a copy I built for myself. Grandpa's knife has two blades - one sheepsfoot and one pen, but I only copied the main blade. Steel is 1095 and it is my constant companion:
Then, some examples of recent versions I have built. some with liners, some linerless, quite a few with the wharncliffe "modification":
Thank you for looking - comments are welcome
