I get auction alerts from this web site : www.publicsurplus.com
They are state surplus auctions from all 50 states, everything you can think of might come up.
Today I saw there is a lot of 2 Hardness Testers being sold by the State of Connecticut. I am sure they came out of a school.
Condition may be a problem. They may not be complete either.
A quick google search showed a new one was worth $1750.00
Current bid is $1.00 for both.
