good morning, title should be O1 and Koa
finished first knife of current batch.

the blade is 1/8" Starret O1 hardened to Rc 62. The handle is Koa from the island of Kauai. The cutting board the knife is on is the same koa and maple from my front yard here in North Carolina.

although the handle may look long, the balance point of the knife is at the end of the handle, perfect for the thumb and forefinger grip.

the handle is finished in water based polyurethane.
