1 attempt baskett weave

Got It

The knife came in today and it is a Beaut!
Really nice combination of materials, really flows well, it all fits.
Blade has a great shape, bolster is appealing and great pairing with the blade,
(I usually don't like damascus bolsters) and the handle looks and feels good.
Did I mention it had a damascus butt cap also, great touch Mr. Helton.
Right now, if I had to name it, it would be "Earth Knife."
It is much more than a 1st attempt at basket weave IMHO.

This is a very nice pattern. I love it. I'm, gona do some investment this summer in my work shop and want to try and learn this tecniques.

Hey randy that wood is spalted hackberry.It was a stump that I removed..Sent it and had it stablized and wallla. Later randy
