    I was referring to the bottom of the handle, almost looks like bumps. If that is grain though.. that is a very cool grain.

    Really like the knife. Are the bumps on the handle meant for grip or is this just how the finish is? I could see it going either way really

    Very nice. For me selling my first was more of a scary feeling. In the back of my mind I could not help but wondering if the knife would hold up, would they break the blade? etc.. 2 years later, lots of abuse and that first knife is still going strong.

    Makers Mark

    As far as I know makers marks are just a home made mark on your blade, no protection what-so-ever. Making this mark very unique is one way to protect it. I sign my name into finger nail polish then etch it onto the blade, while this can still be copied... I feel it makes it a little harder then...
