anyone ever tried the modified Palm Sander with rougher grits..lets say from a 120 beltgrinder finish to maybe a 240 or 320 with the palmsander..if so..did it work well and didn´t take as long as done by hand? thx Al

Hi guys, I wanna make me a slack belt attachment Don´t have an inverter so my grinder / 3HP / runs on full speed I wanted to use the smallest wheels I could get... probably a 1" and a 1.5" (wanna use them for making fingergrooves as well) but that means the bearings will be pretty small too...

Thanks But not perfect because I can´t just take the point out and replace it Hammer it in LOL BUT I can´t get spare points here anyway so no big deal *haha* Had to take a scriber apart to get the point out At least it didn´t cost me much. Arrow..don´t know broke it a while ago LOL...

Mine is a 3 phase motor but with only 3/4 hp So you can easily stop it if you want. Did some further fullspeed grinding... rough grinding up to 240-grit works quite well now but when it come to the plunge lines I´d not recommend it *haha*

Did some further grinding last night on full speed..that was aaaahhhh lets say fun *haha* a medium sized EDC blank I started with almost looked like a knife 3 design and size changes later LOL A new 240 grit belt worked on full speed as well Most have been something wrong with the belt...
