Boy, would it not be great to see the Royals win the series 4 to 0. That second game rocked. They put it to the Mets just like they did my Astros. (It is much more fun to see another team receive a very solid ask-whipping.)

Yes, it was quite a game. Glad the Royals won, but still disappointed they beat my Astros. Couldn't believe that ending. Wow.

George, You sound like me, am my own worst critic. I like both the knife and the sheath. Yes, improvements can be made, but we don't know that till we try it. That's how we learn and grow. (Darn, I needed to hear that myself. Thanks.) Rich S.

my 2 cents worth....If mine, would slab it to say 1" thickness and see what it really looked like. It may be pretty or not. If not, then would a colored stabilizing mix bring more beauty to it? If yes to any of the above, then would send it away to someone experienced for the stabilization. Yes...

Guess the real reason for not using 2" aluminum or building up the thickness with multiple layers of thinner plate is that I'm not personally experienced, and comfortable, with aluminum. Do not have the capabilities for machining metals in my woodworking shop, except for limited numbers of...
