    Moving some steel

Warning, on the antifreeze. I don't know about fumes, but never use automotive anti freeze in any open container. Especially if any animals could have access to it. It tastes sweet to them and will crystalize in their kidneys ensuring a slow and painful death. Lost several favorite outdoor...

    A Big Integral Bush

So fine Tai! Nice work, but take it easy on the arm. Tendonitis is a @@@@@, and takes so stinkin long to go away.

    Banana Short Knife

Beautiful knife and sheath Jeremiah. That O7 is some hard steel to pound. You've done it well, and the patina is nice and dark like I like um. That's a nice touch with the belt loop there. Fit and finish excellent.

    Dragon Goat

Fantastic group. Very feral, but also refined. A real practical blade and sheath.

    S7 tool steel.??

S-7 is hell on wheels to forge without a pwr hammer. Very red hard. Makes great punches and chisels, and fullers, great hot work tooling for smiths though.

    mammoth work

That is some beautiful work Repiton. Especially like the first one, the color of earth tones and the Ostrich leather is great. Is your stamp a Snipe? ( a small woodland bird)

Finally getting started on my contribution to this KITH. Had to finish building a new post vise work station, as I had sold my old one to make way for a better one with a 5 1/4" vise a heavy steel plate top that can take some pounding, a hardy hole, and a tong rack. The top is 1 1/8"x 17"x 22"...

    HT for 1050?

me2, I am using the magnet test, then just a quick trip back to the forge for a few more degrees, then quench. Yes it will skate a file no problem when fully hard. And I wouldn't expect it to be a high performance skinner, but it should hold a fair edge and be useable. It does give a very...

    Heat Treating Railroad Spike Knives

I've never Rc checked one as they are beveled, and I figured with .30 %-C they would NEVER be what you would call a hi-performance knife. That being said they are tough as hell, and who in their right mind would want to carry such a heavy club on a regular basis. They would have been a great...
