I made two blanks to attempt my first WA. 1/16 inch 1095. As promised I will post the progress and mistakes here. If anyone has advice please share it. Trying to expand my capabilities with your help.

I have finished my grinding and it is ready to hand sand. This knife is extremely light so I think I will work with the cedar and some ebony to keep things light.

Now I am in new territory. I started with 1x1x4 piece of cedar and cut matching bolster and pommel pieces of ebony and I think I will break it up with red/white spacers.

Here she is finished. This thing is very light. I bet it only weighs a few ounces. I think I left the handle a little large.
I always have issues making the hole for the hidden tang. Does anyone have a good way they do not mind sharing?
