Two W2 counter knives.

Two for the kitchen out of W2. I use Brownell's PBC for the hamons. They are 0.070 at the handle.
Handles are Walnut crotch wood burl, copper with g10 spacers, Birds Eye maple with a snake wood butt cap.

These are some of the first blades ground on the wet machine we put together. I like it. A different approach to grinding after heat treat.

Newbie question, looks like a coolant nozzle on your grinder is it for air, To coo; the blade????? Ed
Hi Ed welcome aboard,

The nozzle sprays a mist of Kool Mist milling coolant on the surface of the blade to keep it cool. It allows the grinder to grind blades, like the two pictured, after hardening.

I use the machine to set the original edges on blades as well using micron belts.
