Tens machine?

I have a Tens machine from a back injury that I never use anymore and was wondering if anyone has used or thinks it may be used for a etcher.

For those who don't know, a Tens uses a adjustable electric pulse to help relieve pain to the body.

You would need to do some research with the model number of your tens unit. I know my Personalizer Plus has a variable power control of 0 volts to a maximum output power of 24 volts at 3 amps, switchable between AC and DC current. If your tens unit has similar specs it may be worth trying to adapt it to etching.

My guess would be no, However I have never tried it. if it works, let us know and show us the results.

God bless

How many mA does it show? For most etching you'll never pull much more than 500mA, but the total needs to be higher so there is little voltage drop.
