Hello Knife Bloggers
Hello everyone my name is ArmanBlades and I am a first time blogger and knifemaker. I have been making straight razors for 3 years for a living and have just started to make knives to have a change of pace. I have made 5 knives so far and am just starting to figure out the little things to make a good knife. I like using O1 tool steel and wood handle material for now, I do stock removal for now but am looking to forge some knives in the future, I prefer to use wood for handle material. I like doing simple fix blade knives to start but am probably going to make locking folders in the future when I get comfortable with grinding profiles and bevels on fix blade. I am being mentored by Tim Zowada and get to go to his shop for help and advise when needed. I will post pictures soon. Thank you looking at my introduction ArmanBLades.
